The future of life is smaller, at least in terms of living spaces. Most recent example: The Actor’s Fund is building retirement housing in New York from modular “micro units” of only 255-360 square feet in size.
Made on an assembly line in Brooklyn, 54 units will be “stacked” to form a 9-story building in Manhattan.
