In a future where everyone and everything has a unique identifying number telling everyone where “it” can be found, isn’t there a risk of running out of unique numbers?
Apparently not. A total of any 24 bytes of data would allow every atom in the known universe to have its own numerical “address.” Ahhh … the power of random number sequences.
